In spring of 2022, my team and I who were known as the Arts Reps from the College of Arts & Architecture planned the very first CoAAPalooza. The celebration included student organizations, free food trucks, music, activities, student performances, and field day competitions for the students in the college. This annual student-run springs arts festival allows people the chance to meet peers outside of their department and see all that CoA+A has to offer.
LOGO & BRAND DEVELOPMENT
AD DEVELOPMENT
PALOOZA PICS
I had the pleasure of photographing some of the highlights of CoAAPalooza.
Final Designs
LOGO
I was asked to create the logo and branding for the new annual arts festival that was hosted by the college's Arts Reps, which included myself and several other colleagues throughout the College of Art and Architecture. To connect to our younger audience, we designed a nostalgic and festive emblem to allow students to tap into their inner child and to have fun amid the stresses of finals.
AD CAMPAIGN
The purpose of the campaign was to draw attention to the new festival, attracting students from all disciplines of the College of Art & Architecture. The departments ranged from dance, graphic design, illustration, theater, photography, painting, ceramics, digital media, and art history. Everyone was able to meet one another at the festival, allowing them to grow inner-personal connections. Posters were displayed all throughout campus to inform students of the event. The ads included hand-drawn icons related to the activities of the day as well as a QR code that gives people access to grabbing tickets while on the go.

INSTAGRAM CAMPAIGN
Connecting to our audience through other means, we felt Instagram was a great platform to share the news with students. Not only did the college post eye-catching graphics, each Art Rep took over the college's page to post Instagram Stories for 8 days leading up to CoAAPalooza.
